Designing using a materials-based approach where the artisanal component fuses seamlessly to create that balance of different styles and eras, Luca Barengo, after completing his degree in industrial design at the IAAD in Turin, opened his own studio in his native city of Biella in 2018. His career began at an early stage, while still at university, later collaborating with renowned designers and national institutions, curating different types of projects with different purposes, as well as designing exhibition stands and showrooms. He has collaborated with numerous international brands and companies on many occasions and always with a unifying principle, namely mixing formal and functional values that are able to arouse curiosity.
