Co-founded in 2009 by Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin, Formafantasma is a design firm dedicated to investigating the ecological, historical, political and social forces that shape the art of design, with the mission of proposing transformative works. Based in Milan and Rotterdam, the award-winning firm covers everything from product design to exhibition design, from strategic planning to consulting. Formafantasma’s projects are featured in the collections of prominent museums such as the MoMA in New York, the V&A in London and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. The duo also chairs the GEO-Design Department at the Design Academy Eindhoven.
