Marcel Wanders designed more than 2000 iconic interior and product design projects worldwide, characterised by its poetic and deeply humanistic approach, respectful of the past and cultural diversity.
“I took a holistic approach when creating the first collection for Fendi Casa. Rather than designing individual products, the aim was to create authentic living environments, interpreting the signature elements of Fendi design found in the fashion archives of the Maison into elegant interior designs. Inspiration stems from Italy’s heritage, encompassing its wealth of art, culture, and craftsmanship, using locally sourced glass, stone, and textiles. My design values are very much in line with those of Fendi . So working with them felt very much at home.”
