Marcel Wanders studio has a mission to "create an environment of love, live with passion and make our most exciting dreams come true". Founded in Amsterdam 31 years ago by Marcel Wanders, now creative director together with Gabriele Chiave, the globally renowned studio has designed more than 1900 iconic interior and product design projects worldwide, characterised by its poetic and deeply humanistic approach, respectful of the past and cultural diversity.
“We took a holistic approach when creating this first collection for Fendi Casa. Instead of designing individual products, we wanted to create authentic living environments, interpreting the signature elements of Fendi design found in the fashion archives of the Maison into elegant interior designs. Inspiration stems from Italy's heritage to encompass its wealth of art, culture and craftsmanship, using locally sourced glass, stone and textiles. The values of our design studio are very much in line with those of Fendi. So working with them made us feel very much at home.”
